OU Literature and Music Research Group Workshop
Workshop
Time: 10:30 - 16:00

This workshop follows the one held in July 2009, and is part of the Research Group’s programme to foster a UK Research Network in Literature and Music studies.  It is aimed at postgraduate students, their supervisors, and all other researchers in the field.

The day will consist of papers from established academics, roundtable discussion of topics relevant to researchers in the field, and short (15-minute) presentations of current research from postgraduate students.

Current students, or those who have recently received their doctorate, who would like to take this opportunity to present a short paper in a supportive environment of their research peers, should send a brief (150–200 word) proposal to either of the convenors of the day.

The event will include lunch for participants. If you wish to attend, please contact us by 10 September. Convenors: Robert Samuels (Music, The Open University): r.samuels@open.ac.uk;  Delia da Sousa Correa (English, The Open University): d.dasousa@open.ac.uk
